Privacy Policy
The information I hold
The information I hold is in relation to the class the woman has requested. As the classes take place in the couple’s home so I need the following information:
The woman’s name and her partner’s name
Their address
Phone number and email to contact them regarding the class
The estimated due date so I can work the best time to hold the class.
The hospital they wish to deliver at. This helps with information in the class as different hospitals have different policies and procedures.
I do not pass anyone details to any third parties.
I hold the information electronically so it will be on the email that it was sent on (sometimes this is Facebook Messenger, text or on Whatsapp) and I keep a record on my home computer of the class. I am the only person who can access these files on my home computer as they are password protected.
I will keep all details for five years incase of a client returning.
Hospital trusts keep maternity records for 25 years. Therefore I will keep some details in case I ever need to refer back to a class, at the request of a hospital. I will keep the woman’s name, the date of the class and what class it was. All other details will be deleted after 5 years.

Lone Working
Under the 1974 Health and Safety Act, lone workers must have a policy to keep them safe. As this applies to the way I work, I also have this policy in place.
When I go to meet a couple, my partner, Kevin Markey will be informed of the woman’s name, address, phone number and the type of class (so he has a rough ides of how long I will be). No other details will be available to him. This is so he knows where I am should anything happen to me. After the class, I will call or tell him that I am safe. He will then delete the message with the woman’s details in.
He will not keep anyone’s details or supply them to anyone else.
Website
My website is run and maintained by DigitalJen. They have access to details that are submitted on the online form on my website.
These includes the woman’s name, phone number and email address and any further information in the free text boxes.

They will not use or pass on any information that they see in regards to my website.
Mailchimp and Hubspot
I input information into Hubspot which supplies information to Mailchimp for my newsletters. They do not pass on any information. The information held on these systems are the woman’s name and email address, and occasionally a phone number. The women can request to unsubscribe to my newsletters at any time. Once they do that, their details are deleted from both of these accounts immediately.
My newsletters
My newsletters are sent out by a company LifeAdmin. They have access the information on Hubspot and Mailchimp which is the woman’s name and her email address. They cannot use or will pass on any of these details. They are bound by their own GDPR rules – please see lifeadmin.co.uk for more information.

- Information that will help us contact you in the future like: name, company name, address, phone and email
- All personal information disclosed by you to us will be retained securely and we will not seek to append personal data from external sources
- Information on engagement with the emails and SMS messages you receive from us
- The IP address your router freely transmits to our web servers
- Your browser user agent, as freely transmitted by your computer. This includes your browser build information, your device type and your computer’s operating system
We will not be collecting:
- Information about browsing habits outside of our own domains (www.louantenatal.com)
- Personal information relating to you and your private life, such as gender, age
- This data is held in a state of the art highly protected data storage environment within the UK and will be used to:
- Improve the content and relevance of what we send to you
- Help improve the content we display on our website
- Answer any questions you may have submitted and retain this information to ensure a fast and effective service in the future
- Provide you with the fastest access to the latest content relevant to you
- Ensure we remain compliant under the terms of the GDPR
WHERE DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?
We only store data with TSO Host who are based in Maidenhead, UK. Your data will never be transmitted outside of the EU. Unless you have specifically requested us to do so.
EMAIL AND SMS OPTIONS
Louantenal use MailChimp and Hubspot to send both email and SMS marketing communications, both the data centre and its support professionals are located within the EU.
By submitting your information into Louantenatal.com into one of the data capture points you are confirming the following:
- You are doing so in your capacity as a representative of the company (see previous definition) or as an individual
- You are over 18 years of age
- You are accepting the relevance of our marketing email communications
- You are providing contact information that will facilitate the communication between Louantenatal.com and you
SHOULD YOU WISH TO STOP RECEIVING EMAILS FROM US
You may use the unsubscribe link, which will be present within the footer of every email and SMS we send to you. Your subscription preferences will be immediately updated.
DATA SECURITY
Due to the open nature of the internet transmitting data to [server hosting], this must only be done via approved data transmission channels. We will endeavour to ensure your data is transmitted to us using the known best practice approaches. It’s important to note, any data you send to us is sent at your own risk.

We will only pass on the personal information collected if we have a legal obligation to do so.
